A neoclassical structure with five art galleries, an outdoor sculptural garden and seven acres of park space overlooking the Indian River, the Vero Beach Museum of Art has a permanent collection of more than 880 works of art. The museum offers world-class temporary exhibitions, outdoor jazz concerts and other special events.

In addition to staging performances by its own professional company, Ballet Vero Beach presents national and international dance artists, and offers educational and community engagement programs at various venues including onsite at Windsor.

A cultural treasure, Riverside Theatre produces nearly 300 performances on two stages each year including plays, comedy shows, concerts and lectures. With a strong focus on families, Riverside Children’s Theatre offers classes, camps and theatrical training opportunities for all ages.

Vero Beach Opera is a producer of operatic concerts, fully staged operas and international vocal competitions at various venues throughout the community. Annually, the Windsor Charitable Foundation supports the Vero Beach Opera’s scholarship fund for rising young singers at its Broadway Meets Opera concert at the Town Hall.

Established in 1990, the Atlantic Classical Orchestra has become a beacon of classical music, renowned for its moving performances and enriching content. The orchestra consistently delivers joy and delight to audiences, fostering a deep appreciation for the beauty and power of classical compositions.

The Vero Beach Theatre Guild was established in 1958 with one sole purpose – to make theatre accessible to everyone. As the Treasure Coast’s only community theatre, the theatre company has reached audiences for generations and has given opportunities to countless actors and crew to pursue their passion for the arts.

On the first Friday of the month, the galleries and restaurants in Vero Beach’s historic downtown open for the Art Stroll. On the last Friday of the month, a family-friendly (and dog-friendly) street party features music, dancing, shopping and culinary delights. This walkable downtown area bustles at night with local residents and seasonal visitors.

Locally owned stores and national brands are featured in Vero Beach’s much-admired beachside shopping district of Ocean Drive. In addition to a collection of stores offering designer clothing, footwear, jewelry, antiques, homewares and much more, shoppers can relax at the many cafés, bars and restaurants interspersed through this charming shopping area.

This one-square-mile area known as Miracle Mile offers a selection of retail and dining options as well as the popular Vero Beach Book Store and Children’s Center.  The plaza also includes a number of specialty and high-street names. Grocery shopping can be found at large supermarkets including Fresh Market and Publix.

Beautifully restyled by Jay and Joan McLaughlin in 2013, The Village Shops offers a carefully curated collection of stylish boutiques and specialty shops complemented by local cuisine exemplified by the popular Citron Bistro.
