About the Foundation

Established in 2015, The Windsor Charitable Foundation, a 501c3 organization, was created as an avenue for Windsor Members to give back to the local community. The Foundation seeks to make grants to agencies and organizations whose programs contribute to the health and vitality of the area and those who live here. Primarily, grants are awarded to support basic human needs such as food, shelter, assistance with disabilities and health issues, children’s education, medical research, protecting the environment and animal advocacy.

Past Events

The Windsor Charitable Foundation has raised significant funds in recent years with a variety of special events. In 2024, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup, chaired by Windsor co-founder, The Hon. Hilary M. Weston, and presented by PNC Bank, raised $400,000 in net proceeds for three local charities: The Homeless Children’s Foundation of Indian River County, The Indian River Land Trust, and Ballet Vero Beach. The Gallery at Windsor also raises funds for local arts education and donated $8,000 in 2024 for Vero Beach Museum of Art’s Summer Arts Camp Scholarship Fund.

Windsor Charity Polo Cup

Taking place biennially, The Windsor Charity Polo Cup is recognized as the signature high-goal charity polo match of the season in Vero Beach. In addition to world-class polo, the event features an array of interactive events and exhibitions, including an elegant luncheon, themed tailgate, specialty retail village, luxury automobile concourse and high-end raffle.
